Step 2: Cut the first piece of crown molding

Take the first piece of crown molding and measure the length from the end of the molding to the center mark that you made on the cabinet. Cut the molding at this point.

Step 3: Cut the second piece of crown molding

Take the second piece of crown molding and measure the length from the end of the molding to the center mark that you made on the back of the cabinet. Cut the molding at this point.

Step 4: Dry fit the crown molding

Place the two pieces of crown molding on the cabinet and dry fit them together. Make sure that the corners are aligned and that the molding fits snugly against the cabinet. If necessary, make adjustments to the cuts.
