How to Install Kitchen Cabinet Doors

Begin by measuring and marking the location of the hinges on the doors. Use a level to ensure that the hinges are parallel to each other. Once you have marked the location of the hinges, drill pilot holes for the screws.

Step 3: Attach the Hinges to the Doors

Attach the hinges to the doors using the mounting screws. Be sure to tighten the screws securely, but not so tightly that you strip the wood.

Step 4: Measure and Mark the Cabinet Frames

Now, measure and mark the location of the hinges on the cabinet frames. Again, use a level to ensure that the hinges are parallel to each other. Drill pilot holes for the screws.

Step 5: Attach the Hinges to the Cabinet Frames

Attach the hinges to the cabinet frames using the mounting screws. Again, be sure to tighten the screws securely.

Step 6: Hang the Doors

Hang the doors on the cabinet frames by aligning the hinges. Make sure that the doors are level and that they open and close smoothly.
