Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Determine the Drawer Type:

There are two main types of kitchen drawers: face frame and frameless. Face frame drawers have a wooden frame around the front of the drawer opening, while frameless drawers do not.

2. Remove Face Frame (if applicable):

If you have a face frame drawer, remove the screws that secure the frame to the sides and top of the cabinet opening. Gently pry the frame off using a flathead screwdriver.

3. Locate the Drawer Slides:

Drawers are mounted on slides that allow them to move in and out. Locate the slides on both sides of the drawer.

4. Release the Drawer Slides:

Most drawer slides have a release lever or mechanism. Find the lever on each side of the slide and press it to release the drawer. If there is no lever, use a flathead screwdriver to push on a small tab or button.

5. Pull the Drawer Out:

Once the slides are released, gently pull the drawer straight out until it is completely clear of the cabinet.
